I didn't subscribe to this thread but I'm getting private messages from MyBB Engine whenever there's a reply. When did this start?
Private Messages From MyBB Engine? |
Sometime back we added the subscription feature (a plugin) that allowed subscriptions to threads to be automated. You can find the options to how its handled under your UserCP > Default Thread Subscription Mode and that should allow you to stop any emails from posts added to subscribed threads. If that doesn't help then I'll have to see if the most recent update has effected it. (although it will be a slow process since I'm down a hand at the moment.)
Incidentally you might also have the "Send email if there is a private message" set, which sends out emails. I should be okay although I'm in plaster for a month and should be fine as long as I don't try to open any doors or lift bags with that hand for a couple of months. It's showing up on subscriptions but I swear I didn't subscribe to it. Weird! No big deal. I was just curious. Sorry to hear about your hand, Stryder. How'd did you break it? (guessing) [when you use doors a lot you notice some have a nasty temper] chrome had an update 3 to 4 weeks ago. i doubt that would effect SS getting emails unles upgrading browser while on the settings page and accidentially reloading and clicking something. i think it is possible to stack a command on the mouse by about 1 second in such a situation which would be just fast enough to then close the opened settings page as the computer loads the tick in the box and saves on exit. highly unlikely. |
