I don't think that I know anything with 100% certainty. There's always the possibility that I might be wrong.

Thinking philosophically consists in the ability to ask basic fundamental questions. Those who believe that they already know the ultimate secrets of the universe with 100% certainty would seem to have lost the ability to ask questions, and hence the ability to philosophize. All they can do is preach.

Quote:Neo-ness assumes a concealed reality so you would not be incorrect to draw that comparison.

Depends on what side of the door one stands I guess.

So did God originally plan for the doorway to the divine realm to be closed or was it an honest unfortunate unanticipated glitch during creation that sealed off the metaphysical from the physical? I get the feeling that God doesn't like this arrangement if I read you correctly. God was/is prepared to wait for as long as it took until someone like yourself evolved with the capacity to open the door. Maybe I'm underestimating you, you're not Neo, you're Christ, Abraham, Mohammed or at minimum another prophet of the Lord. I'll bet you believe this method you thought of was also the same thoughts of all the prophets that have existed up until today. It's an exclusive fraternity you feel honoured to belong to.

I don't see myself as a prophet or anything special. I'm just like you except I know of something about reality that few do, and it is accessible to me. And it seems to have been a glitch in creation. The predicament of split in two worlds that siphoned off after the initial point of the explosive Big Bang. Universal consciousness was but a point that was left behind after the universe grew and separated into individual points known as human beings.

I defend this view emphatically because I embrace it as I am a man of truth.

I believe there is a fundamental substrate that connects all minds. An ideal Platonic world that exists beyond the shadows of basic level reality.

If a person of truth diagnosed you with a delusional disorder then would you believe him/her? If they diagnosed someone other than you with the disorder..same question?

Is it possible that delusions are totally misunderstood by people who don't sense them? I mean if someone walked up to you insisting that they've not only discovered your method of entering a separate reality but a way to enter several at once, would you believe it? If not, why not?

As long as it can be verified by the scientific method.

My opinion of religion at a very young age was summed up presciently when my mom told me there was no Santa Claus at the age of 7. I then asked, "No Easter bunny too?" "No" she says. "No toothfairy?" I asked. "I'm afraid not", she says. Then I asked, "What about Jesus?" "Oh no! That's very real!" she exclaimed. Little did I know then that she was lying to me and herself about that.

Christ as a symbol represents all of our innate ability to step out of the Matrix. But He was more than a human being.

From the orientation of normal physical existence one can transition into ultimate reality or the world of God in which non-randomness is the primary function. Existence is a predicate that does not and cannot rely on external agents. It would make sense to say that we are the nature and identity of the universe.
