Whew, that's a lot of interesting items. The two below perhaps the least deserving of attention, or just a couple of discount tires for capricious cynical urges to kick.

Quote:And finally, another team announced that they had found evidence showing that the sugar industry withheld evidence of sucrose's health effects nearly 50 years ago. The team, made up of members from the University of California, found the evidence when reviewing internal sugar industry documents. They also found evidence of the Sugar Research Foundation pulling funding of the impact of sugar on animals when such research revealed the harmful impacts of sugar consumption.

Ooooo... That vintage wisdom of the past. Depending upon commercial enterprises to conduct objective research on their own products; and trusting them to rattle the warning bells for any negative consequences with regard to any associative industrial practices and entrenched consumer traditions such engendered long before.

Quote:And a team at Uppsala University in Sweden found that tea consumption leads to epigenetic changes in women. The chemical modifications that turn genes on or off were impacted by tea drinking and were linked to an impact in genes that interact with cancer and estrogen in women, but not men. [...elsewhere...] However, this study does not show if it is healthy or not to drink tea [...]

Great cliffhanger for them to leave female tea drinkers stranded at. Could we cheat ahead of time with sci-fi prophecy? I'm not sure a *Star Trek: Discovery* computer approving green tea for Michael Burnham in the 23rd century is exactly a reliable future forecast.

Computer, cancel that order.

That's hardly the correct ratio of
protein, carbohydrates, and fat.

Computer, three-egg-white breakfast

Computer, add salsa.

Cooked tomatoes are a

[COMPUTER] Green tea.

Used to be sugar was OK and fat was bad. How times have changed. Possibly, fat and sugar are both generally bad. After a heavy fat meal, the body's blood has been observed thickened with circulating fat.

Haven't been eating watermelon like in the past and my tomatoes are raw.

Can't believe I dumped a higher-priced peanut butter with very little or no refinement (added ingredients) for a cheaper "natural"-declared pb that actually has two more grams of sugar as well as extra sodium, plus a dash of palm oil to keep it from separating. Just to fit one of hubby's "one serving and it's gone" guilty-pleasure food items into our bi-weekly, "show-no-mercy-ever" budget.

Bummer about that there. I had gotten a large stock of the former mentioned good type of pb before they raised the price a lot so got lucky on that thing. I'm pretty close on the one serving per plastic jar thing, at least I was before I got a bunch of shelled, bagged walnuts at a discount from the local grocery store to divide my fat/protein intake out among other items more. Even those went up in price a lot after I had built up my supply.
