EXCERPT: The first edition Pal-V Liberty will cost €499,000 (£437,000 / $599,000). It will have a flying range of between 248 an 310 miles (400 to 500 kilometres). The vehicle will cruise at an altitude of up to 11,500 feet (3,500 metres). [...] The company insists the Pal-V is not a helicopter, where blades are powered by an engine, but is a gyroplane in which the blades rotate thanks to airflow. Even if both engines cut out, the blades will still turn. [...] On the road, it can drive for up to 750 miles...

I foresee a few class action lawsuits over decapitated customers. If you can get hurt by a product, count on the customer to find a way to do it.

looks some-what fragile.

hard to imagine pushing the back out as you floor it through the winding hill roads home.
or wind draft as a big rig speeds past you on the motorway & sucks you into the adjacent lane

looks like a very expensive fair weather bicycle.

i assume it comes with an extremely advanced weather radar system on board.
