While I've never had this happen to me, I would simply end the date.
But if you were the one on the phone then would that be the signal to your date that this isn't going well and for all intents, it's ended? Just wondering if there's a double standard on this behavior, like it's gender specific or something like that. Would you wait to officially end it once the bill has been paid?
sociopath
culturely monothesiastic
communication problems
clear intent to avoid issues
lack of ability to address important issues.
lack of caring for social customs.
take your pick.
the gender specific issues is culture.
if you want a gender stereo typed relationship then your on the right track.
playing games and trying to get a free meal while socially critquing your date(to your friends on your cell phone) etc as some people do is just pathalogical.
if your soo inclinded to have cultural social behaviour boundarys that require pre-ordained social behaviours then you probably should work those out before you put yourself into a public situation with the person.
