just found this really cool calculator

consistant more sparadic smaller shakes on the alaska and canadian boundary which is good yet shows consistant movement.
i am seeing consistant small surface movement in california which is awesome, lets hope that keeps those small ones going and stays shallow
New Zealand is starting to get some shallower ones which i am not too sure about.
there are consistant reports that the aftershocks have not become a slow rubbling sideways movement and they are happening at a much shallower depth which means greater potential damage.
if we get something around a 5.5 above at the 5km depth range then there is going to be quite a bit of damage, possibly more roads being blocked by landslides and houses already shaken may get shaken off their foundations.
the realy big change reported by some residents says the longer more side to side ones really do shake them around and resulting in them reporting the quake to be a much greater shaking/severity even though the quake size is a "to be expected not very big aftershock".
I and i do say If the deep 4 to 5 range continue on for a few more days, then i shall start to expect there to be another potential 7 ot higher somewhere possibly toward the south of japan where there has been almost no movement at all shallow or at depth.

it allows you to calculate the size of an earth quake
https://earthquake.usgs.gov/learn/topics/calculator.php
how many times bigger is 1 quake from another
no mystacism involved in this.
my simple premis is that there should be a certain quantifiable level of probable prediction possible with basic movement of the plates.
until we get scientific instruments that can measure the torsion, (mass spectroscopy?) and electromagnetic fields and electrical build up at varying depths, (at which point it will be possible to calculate probablility of quakes) to have pre evacuation warnings and probability zones with time references on them.
e.g
MTC (Mass Torsion Collective) [Density Pressure & Electrical index showing collective data of Tectonic plate, rock, sea, land & generic teranian(sediment etc) electromagnetic levels including, friction, residual electrical charge and density index on a real time fluid display]
MTC value 75%
Location (plotted map area shoing most likely direction of release for directional shaking/movement and depth calculated by computer)
PT (probability Time zone) time in which it is expected to move as a statistical value in real time calculated by all data cross referenced with al known variables.
as smaller quakes and movement and varying degrees of planetary cycle, electromagnetic storms and other influencing factors happen it will show a real time value as probability values move up and down dependant on actual scientific data.
being a moving living thing the plates are always moving and thus having real time data showing build up and release of cross matched with density levels fault lines, strong points weak points etc... should give a good guide to what can be expected within a time frame of around 60 days(roughly) allowing for secondary systems and public evacuations....
reducing cost of lives massive reduction in loss of business continuity by efectively managing and almost preventing trading interuption.
