I think they should ban the Bible. There's more filth and graphic violence in there than in most books I've ever read. The Song of Solomon alone should be rated X! And then there's David's and Jonathan's torrid gay love affair! lol

Banning books in schools, that are not age appropriate, is not the same as banning books in general. Most sane people agree that plenty of books are not appropriate for children.
And you've already repeatedly proven that you don't understand the Bible.

Do kids read nowadays? I would of thought they would be too busy staring into a smart phone to pay attention to a dusty relic in a library (I meant the books, not the Librarian).
I guess the concept could be to state a book is banned and off limits. That should cause those rebel rouses to want to see what the fuss is about and ... yoink!, you've hooked them on something you would of had to use bribery or force to read.

Many public schools have their own libraries, for students... where some amount of reading is mandatory for their education. These are the only libraries books are getting banned from. Not from public libraries, university libraries, or book stores.

One of the things they like to ban books from school libraries for is the mere mention of any LGBTs in the book or any such characters. It's clear the Biblethumpers want to keep kids in the dark as long as possible about the very existence of such evil beings, ensuring their full readiness for a G-rated world when they graduate HS and go off to college. In the meantime, kids still have friends and relatives, movies, TV media, music, comics, bookstores, and the Internet. So yeah...keep learning kids!

Yes, parents have the right to control the moral teaching of their children.
Remember when you claimed Democrats weren't trying to subvert anyone's values? @_@

Since when is writing about LGBTs in a book in any way a moral teaching? Is every character mentioned in a book an admonishment for readers to become that way? lol Newsflash: if they're not that way, they are not going to become that way thru reading about it in a book. I read about and watched movies about straight couples for years and never got "converted" to straight.

If you don't know, you're not likely to understand. And you laughably claim you understand the Bible. 9_9

IOW you're stumped and have no answer. You should stick to defending things you really believe in. You might find you actually have some knowledge about such things..

Fine.. in crayon then... just for you.
Presenting LGBT characters to young children normalizes what many deem immoral. It's like showing young children graphic sex or violence. Most sane parents do not want to expose/desensitize their children to many things until they are old enough to really understand or be able to handle it.
