LOL That's certainly the desperate "bottom of the barrel" of debunks--that it is all an elaborate hoax just to get their name in the papers. And so who goes around hoping to be the famous pilot and stewardess who saw and filmed a green ufo in flight? Uh..no one. You otoh have an active interest in this not being anything that threatens your worldview. We just can't have extraordinary otherworldly phenomena in your world, now can we? Why that may make you question everything wouldn't it? Deal with it. You have no idea what is out there and neither do I. We just have to live in the mystery of whatever happens.. whether it suits our beliefs or disbeliefs. And fully accepting that may be the only real reason we are here at all.

Again, learn to read.
No one said anything about a hoax. And most people that end up getting much internet attention just luck into the right circumstance. They don't have a single, specific plan. Unless you believe the likes of the hawk tuah girl had just been sitting on that, waiting for the opportunity.
My world view is very open to the extraordinary. Remember, I believe in God and souls and an afterlife. And no part of that is threatened by the possibility of there being even more souls from elsewhere. My beliefs are too heterodox for that. But I'm also rational and expect extraordinary evidence for the extraordinary.
But you always seem extremely invested in all the things being as extraordinary as possible. So you're only projecting your own worldview being threatened. You even admit it by saying, "fully accepting that may be the only real reason we are here at all." See, you "accepting it" is crucial to your worldview.

Again, nobody wants fame for being a flight crew who witnessed a ufo in flight. People will just ridicule you and call into question your ability to do your job. It doesn't look good on a resume. So the fact that it happened and they still came forward testifies to their honesty and bravery to become known for that. That's what amazing experiences like this do. They embolden you to take a stand and tell people about it because it has tremendous meaning for the human race. That our skies are filled with intelligent luminous objects and orbs that have no manmade or natural explanation. That there are possibly very advanced "others" out there somewhere, and that we are not alone.

I only post the sightings that I am already convinced are real uaps. The ones that have been vetted by investigators and news services and that defy explanation. There is no sense in me posting ones I not convinced of. I have already ruled out all the mundane possibilities that skeptics think they alone are discovering. As for my worldview, it is rather amorphous and nebulous, full of possibilities we have yet to even imagine. There is nothing that would ever convince me that reality isn't this way, having experienced in my own life many amazing things. Call me biased towards the magical and miraculous. That's what I have learned from life. Always be open to the new and surprising.

Again, for the thousandth time, learn to read.
I literally just said, "most people that end up getting much internet attention just luck into the right circumstance. They don't have a single, specific plan."
That literally means that they aren't looking for it.
And no, with all the drones, UAP congressional hearings, etc., no one is getting blackballed for believing they saw a UFO. Now if you rave about being abducted, probed, etc. that's another story. But there's nothing brave about saying you saw something you couldn't identify or explain. That's just the vagaries of human perception.
And again, you saying, "it has tremendous meaning for the human race," just proves that it's your worldview on the line, not mine. So that was obviously just projection.

After I posted this thread yesterday, I drove over to a local Chinese restaurant to have lunch. As I sat at a traffic light I noticed two white objects flying low in the clouds. At first I thought they were birds but soon saw they were luminous white orbs. They were quickly flying around in a tight circle as if chasing each other, at times going into the clouds and then emerging back again. I thought they might be drones but checked the cloud base later and it was 4000 ft, too high for drones to fly. Besides who would fly drones like that, going in circles in and out of clouds? Did I just have my first known uap encounter? Checked the web for any uap reports in the area and found none. The orbs are multiplying folks. Look up in the skies.

I know you're really keen on finding/seeing them. That means you're biased as a source of information... especially when you have no means of corroboration.

And yet I have never seen one nor gone out specifically to look for one. It's the last thing I expect to happen to me because I know how rare they are. And yet it did. Can't be biased towards what I'm never looking for.

Learn. To. Read.
Being keen on something is not the same as actively seeking it out or expecting it.
