Funnily enough it's possible that actual underlining reason for her (my neice who is definitely a girl) to be expelled is they might think she is trans. She's a big kid (looks alot older than she is) and it's possible they might think she's not what she seems because of that. (Even though they've known her there since she was 4)

To me the melodrama being played out at your niece’s school is aimed directly at her parents. IOW they’re doing a bad job rearing her according to school board. I hope she succeeds as a film editor or in a related field, just in time to expose the wackiest times in America for what it is, pure bs.

Given the dual nationality I assume at least one parent must be of UK origin. Possibly the UK parent has failed to understand or communicate that (by English standards) they are living in a country full of lunatics.

More than likely, it's the UK sensibilities that led them to live in an area with such nonsense woke policies in the first place. After all, that school is expressing "the English view."

No, such gun policies in a school would more likely coincide with policies supporting a students "gender identity." Even possibly helping to hide it from the parents.

Even in the most gun friendly school/state I'm guessing there would be a search for someone to blame in the event of a shooting. A claim for compensation that involves negigence is probably going to be much (vastly) higher than the normal - this is America - shit happens. Regardless of whether the claims made about Stryder's neice were spurious/malicious and the school took no action this could easily support a later claim that the school was negligent. "We warned the school about X and they took no action - no surprise they took no action about Y and now my child is dead as a (direct) consequence of their negligence - punitive damages please to remind the school to be more careful in future.".

Expulsion is a blackmarket that will mean other schools won't entertain the concept of her presence easily. There is also the consideration that some schools are "geolocked" in the sense that they cater to the local county (and possibly some neighbouring ones) but not further afield, they require a parent to live nearby.

If you saw her with her friends, you'd think she was an older kid because she stands taller than them and is bigger skeletally as well. (all that Scandinavian/Viking DNA passed on from both parents I guess)

Comedians are especially afflicted by militants today. They started avoiding college campuses years ago. In this case, though, I guess it's more the administration potentially having that reaction rather than fellow elementary students being actively suppressive.
