Nothing large for temporal transitions to the past. IF such could ever be the case, they'd use particle-sized sophotrons (sopho- [wise] + tron [device]) created by femtotechnology.

Since sophotrons would be subject to quantum properties/effects, the latter would be self-manipulated to sustain a bias for "flowing" in the opposite direction of time. In contrast to that normally only happening briefly and randomly, or probabilistically: "Time-Reversal Phenomenon: In the Quantum Realm, Not Even Time Flows As You Might Expect"

Once the sophotrons arrive at their designated date in the past (they're programmed to survive and protect themselves throughout the intervening hundreds or thousands of years), they begin self-replicating in earnest. Producing nanobots that eventually constitute and manufacture machines at the scale of our macroscopic level. Some of those would be the UAPs.

In addition, they could also carry DNA information and construct organisms (their designers in the future). But most likely those assembled beings of tomorrow would be synthetic post-humans rather than the original, primitive species that initiated the progressive engineering process on Earth (i.e., us). OTOH, for camouflage purposes, some might outwardly resemble their biological "ancestors", so they could abide among us in secret.

The universe is Non-fungible (not to be mistaken for a reference to NFTs).  How I mean is that all the quanta in the universe is based upon it's position, it's output and universally only accepted at the time of writing.  (e.g. The moment)  While it's possible to recreate a similar metric output in the same location, the rest of the universe will have shifted, which means you'd be creating a replica of an instance not reinstating the exact instance of time.

That being said the rule to this gets awkward when you apply it to an enclosed body (a shielded box that shelters its contents from our universe) as the events that unfold are "relative" only to what is inside the box (or outside depending on position), so some instance of "Localised spookiness" would be possible.

I often considered that such a box could from a multiworlds perspective be a "Null", the void in which our multiverse and all it's subcomposite layers could potentially interact through.

Think of it a bit like this:
A MagicianWizard trick "The Rabbit and the Box" (using Wizard since it's *real* magic attempting to use physics, over just an illusion).  To create the physics for this to be possible (physics not trick in this instance) It requires a multiverse frame of reference for the box to exist in, and for a instantation of two entwined parallels where a paradox occurs.

The MagicianWizard in this instance would use both universes to their advantage (Both universal actions are carried out in tandem)

In the first parallel he(or she) turns to the crowd and says "I will make a Rabbit Disappear!".
They show the box as empty. They take a rabbit from a cage and place it into the box before sealing it closed.  They wiggle a wand and say some magic words "Pifflepafflepoof!" (For entertainment and mostly timing) and reopen the box showing it to be empty.

In the second parallel he(or she) turns to the crowd and says "I will make a Rabbit Appear!"
They show the box as empty.  They showboat a bit longer to show how empty the box is and theres no strings before sealing it closed.  They wiggle a wand and say some magic words "Pifflepafflepoof!" (For entertainment and mostly timing) and reopen the box showing to show a rabbit.

What does this require beforehand:
Well it requires a paradox to occur where the rabbit has been physically moved to a different universal position in one parallel in relationship to the other parallel.
This means that the rabbit is a bit like Shroedingers cat, however instead of being alive and dead, it's either existing and occupying a given space, or existing and occupying a different space. (So it's only observable in one location or other depending on which parallel you view it from)

The box in this instance is acting like a Switch between which state is being viewed, which would only be possible if the box itself can localise the effect as a "Null" container.  Think of it like a door frame where the rabbit moves between the two positions.

Obviously to actually create this as a reworld experiment would take some doing (And there would be subsiquent side-effects that should be cautiously considered before attempting as it could be detrimental to not just the rabbit but the observers present and perhaps the multiverse as a whole. )

Why is the concept of time so abstract... all of a sudden? Dodgy

Dr. Giulia Rubino from the University of Bristol’s Quantum Engineering Technology Labs (QET labs) and lead-author of the publication, said:

“If a phenomenon produces a large amount of entropy, observing its time-reversal is so improbable as to become essentially impossible. However, when the entropy produced is small enough, there is a non-negligible probability of seeing the time-reversal of a phenomenon occur naturally.

“We can take the sequence of things we do in our morning routine as an example. If we were shown our toothpaste moving from the toothbrush back into its tube, we would be in no doubt it was a rewinded recording of our day. However, if we squeezed the tube gently so only a small part of the toothpaste came out, it would not be so unlikely to observe it re-entering the tube, sucked in by the tube’s decompression.”

Okay, this example suddenly made ''time traveling to the past'' make a bit more sense. (Just a bit) I think my issue with the concept is that I view time as evolving...progressing forward. I can't fathom that two different time passages (future and past) could ever work together, simultaneously. Thanks for the article!
