Still tools that require programming, but can navigate autonomously and make refined adjustments within the general boundaries they're given and restricted to. Boston Dynamics’ Spot 2.0 features improved autonomy and mobility: Less than eight months after releasing its quadruped to the world, Boston Dynamics pushed out a software update today packed with new features. Spot 2.0 now features enhanced autonomy, communications, navigation, payload support, and more. The map for Spot 2.0 must still be created manually, but the robot acts more autonomously once it has the details of its work environment. “With Spot 2.0, you can program the robot to go to that point, but it’ll find the shortest path to get there and perform its action.” RE: Boston Dynamic droids twist & mash potato to "Do you love me" + AI that rates movies - Yazata - May 15, 2022 Boston Dynamics releases another robot dance video.
