Can a Quantum Computer be Hacked? - Zinjanthropos - Dec 19, 2020

I’m thinking that if the qubits in my computer aren’t entangled with the qubits in a hacker’s computer then hacking would be impossible. Not sure if qubit the right term and I’m no expert but I think entanglement is what makes a quantum computer.

Maybe Ostro can answer this next question. If AI is equipped with a quantum computer for a brain and if it’s impossible to extract information from it then will providing AI with consciousness make it possible? The only reason I say that is that if our brains are a biological quantum computer, they can be persuaded to give up information. None of this means anything unless a quantum computer can’t be hacked.

I guess there is a lot of mysticism involving what actual Quantum Computers do.  I'm not going to say I know any more than you on the subject, however I'd assume it to be a system that uses analogue rather than binary.  I quantum state in that sense isn't just a flick of a switch, a zero or a one but it's actually a multidimensional evaluation, that depending on how it's interpreted gives out different results which can be non-binary.

The method of entanglement is indeed "Localised", which is where the considerations of security can lay.  After all it would require an attacker to be "relative" to gain access, however in theory you could have a larger network of quantum computers simulating a smaller one and even pose what "injections" would be necessary to crack it on the fly.  (injections appearing superfluous data to the operators of the target system, Where its actually hidden payloads used to extrapolate it's overall methods of computation.)

I guess the closest understanding to humans in regards to the "injections" would be Mesmerism.
