Trump says Biden is controlled by ‘people in dark shadows’

Coincidentally, the original Dark Shadows has its own 24/7 channel on Pluto TV (all 1,225 episodes apparently). For the time being, it's in the Classic TV category right underneath the "Doctor Who" channel (audio seems muted by default, so be sure to click the red icon): https://pluto.tv/live-tv/dark-shadows

Pluto TV is free (commercial supported like broadcast television). While you can access it on the web with a browser (like the above link), the latter could run out of memory or the picture quality might be erratic occasionally for some (depending). So there are apps that can be downloaded for both mobile and desktop, and it's available via Smart TV and streaming devices:

EXCERPTS: In a discussion about Joe Biden, Mr Trump claimed that his opponent was under someone else’s thumb. “He’s not controlling anything,” said the president. [...] “People that you’ve never heard of. People that are in the dark shadows. ... They’re people that are on the streets, they’re people that are controlling the streets. We had someone get on a plane from a certain city this weekend. And in the plane it was almost completely loaded with thugs wearing these dark uniforms, with black uniforms, with gear and this and that. They’re on a plane.”

“Where is this?” Ms Ingraham asked.

“I’ll tell you sometime, but it’s under investigation right now,” Mr Trump hinted. “But they came from a certain city, and this person was coming to the Republican National Convention, and there were like seven people on the plane like this person, and there were a lot of people were on the plane to do big damage.”

Only the blind and deaf would fail to see that Biden isn't capable of controlling himself, even when reading from a teleprompter. And if we don't know who is, that definitely falls into the idiom of "from the shadows". And anyone who thinks that's conspiracy or propaganda is either willfully ignorant or lying.

Yep..that's a conspiracy theory. Mysterious people in the shadows controlling things. Trump is a complete idiot.

It doesn't take a conspiracy for people to prop up someone obviously in desperate need of it. But then, you believe in ghosts, UFOs, and all manner of goofy crap, so no wonder you believe a dementia-stricken functional zombie is in full command of his own faculties.

Well, bless your heart. Someone needs to pat you on the head.

You can't justify this being a conspiracy theory, so you have to distract by throwing everything against the wall to see what sticks. Hint, no one ever said Trump never talked about conspiracies. Maybe all your conspiratorial nonsense is because you're a narcissist too.

I dunno. From this foreigner’s viewpoint..... Here you have a guy who’s made billions, has a trophy wife, became president and yet is a dummy as far as the Dems are concerned. Seems to me that an idiot shouldn’t have anything to do with the aforementioned, so as JQPublic I’m thinking something’s not right and possibly the Dems in essence are also calling me an idiot for voting him POTUS last time, this time, any time. Why would I vote for a party that’s obviously playing with my head, not that I think Trump is innocent of the same practice. I think when Trump is done that psychology books may need to be rewritten. Something to be said for subtle vs blatant.

Yeah, a guy who is a success in private business being elected to public office versus a guy who is only a success at being elected to public office. Of course all the career Dems are going to poo poo any business success, because they've largely never accomplished anything but convincing people to elect them to office, where they can get well-paid, with great retirement, for doing nothing. At least people know what Trump thinks, because he has a terminal case of no brain to mouth filter. And while Trump is just a run of the mill narcissist, at least he's actually accomplished a lot.

"Further evidence that Trump is widely viewed as something shy of the sharpest knife in the drawer comes from another, far-from-leading query pollsters have posed about him. In September 2017, a Washington Post–ABC News poll asked people an open-ended question: “What one word best describes your impression of Trump? Just the one word that best describes him?” The first most common term to describe him was “incompetent.” Other related characterizations in the top 10 descriptors included “idiot,” “ignorant,” and “unqualified.”

Quinnipiac asked a similar question in December 2017: “What is the first word that comes to mind when you think of President Trump?” By far, the most frequent word that came to mind was “idiot.” Other common terms included “incompetent,” “moron,” “ignorant,” and “stupid.”

Of course, Trump regularly refers to himself as a “very stable genius.” As proof, he often mentions that he got an undergraduate degree from the prestigious Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, after spending his first two years at Fordham. However, there is no evidence that he was anything other than an ordinary student. He didn’t make the list of matriculating students in his class who graduated with honors. Reportedly, one of his professors, William T. Kelly, later disparaged Trump as one of the dumbest students he ever had."

LOL! And who would be most likely to answer polls from obviously left-leaning WP and ABC? Yeah, leftists. That's like going to a clan meeting and asking what people thought of Obama, or an atheist meeting (are there such things?) and asking opinion on Jesus.

Now, to be fair, Quinnipiac isn't partisan. But then if your poll includes many who don't really follow politics, you're going to get the mainstream media narrative as a default.

And I'm not surprise that New Republic (far left and ignorant that a republic is contrary to most of their preferred policies) conflates genius with graduating with honors. Many bonafide geniuses never graduated college at all.

But again, more nonsense from someone who can't support his only on-topic claim here.
