The SpaceX video of yesterday's Starlink launch has the internet buzzing.
The engineers think that these are just bits of ice that came off the outside of the second stage LOX tank and landed on the hot engine bell where they skitter around.

Darn rodents hitchhiked on European sailing vessels. Now they're adapting to the exterior of spaceships. So watch out, Dragon and Starship: a strictly sanitized and sealed interior environment may not protect you from being a future carrier of vermin to space stations and beyond.
