I watched Unorthodox. I loved it!

In 2016, it was learned that the sect issued a decree warning that university education for women is "dangerous". Written in Yiddish, the decree warns: "It has lately become the new trend that girls and married women are pursuing degrees in special education ... And so we'd like to let their parents know that it is against the Torah." Satmar fear that higher education would lead to women being more concerned about their careers than their families. In line with other Hasidic communities, they see higher education as being against the Torah and their family values.

Our lord, master, teacher, yada-yada. Rebbe is similar to rabbi but there’s a section on a Hasidic Rebbe if you want to take a look. If you think about it, though, Zinman, we’re all sort of slaves… maybe not to a god, but we are evolutionary puppets.

One thing Covid-19 shows is that the Earth won't miss us when were gone. We're not important in the grand scheme. Religion means squat. We're just another critter.
Evolution wasn't kind to the human female. By that I mean if you take a look at Black Widow spiders, praying mantis or even a bald eagle .... the fems are in charge because they have the physical advantage. Plenty of other examples in the Kingdom of Wild. So take heart.....Nothing a million years or so can't fix.
