It's not race, it's politics - Syne - Nov 7, 2019
Virginia Democrat governor (blackface scandal), lieutenant governor (sexual assault scandal), and attorney general (another blackface scandal), Canadian PM Trudeau (blackface scandal) all won reelection.
Demonstrable racists (and sexual predators) are on the left, and their racist voters don't care.

Who cares? It's worse than reality TV. You should be your harshest critic and your biggest skeptic. You should have looked beforehand.
You know one thing that I am curious about, though, is how politicians get so rich. Are they heavily invested in politically influential industries that they regulate? Are they on the take or do only the rich run for office?

It was another time. Things like that weren't viewed as racist like they are now. We all know you're the party of racists. You're the last group to be preaching to others about racism.
