Software Update [AUG/2019] - stryder - Aug 6, 2019

It's been a while since I've pushed a proper update (I did sneak one in at the beginning of the year but I'd been putting it off)

We're now running the current software (and a higher version of some sub-level environments which I'm not going to go into too much detail over), please keep your eyes peeled for odd behaviour, errors etc. I try to make sure it goes smoothly however there is always the chance I missed something :/

There might be a problem editing posts. Haven't encountered it enough yet to know whether it's universal for everyday or only temporary. Others will need to chime in.

Yeah, the quick editing works but not the full.

In the new version there was some current changes to certain core pieces of code (Like JQuery) this means that some changes to how that code functions has effected some of the old code in the templates of the sites theme, I will make adjustments where I can spot the changes (Unfortunately it's not easy until a problem arises)  I've just changed the post edit theme to the updated version, so we'll see if that now works.

There was also a few core changes to some of the main files that are literally things related to this site, it's very easy to get a space where it shouldn't be or a missing '}' or other.

In all though This update itself has been used to fix the edit bugs.

You're right. I often initially enter here with javascript switched off, so that due to the update even the Quick Edit wasn't working this those times around. But normally the quick does work regardless of whether JS is deactivated or not.

Should be fixed now.

Full edit seems to be working.
