Mango Wheat and other ales - Leigha - Jul 11, 2019 I'm not much of a beer drinker, but over the past year, I've tried IPA's and also Blue Moon. Bought Blue Moon's Mango Wheat recently, and it is sooo good. It's a golden mango ale, that offers a hint of fruity flavor. Wish they made it in a light version, though. Lots of craft beers to choose from, guess there's a lot of competition among breweries these days. I'm still more of a wine drinker, but now that it's summer, a cold beer is nice when at the beach, or a bbq. What is your favorite beer? RE: Mango Wheat and other ales - Magical Realist - Jul 11, 2019 Mike's Harder Lemonade counts as a beer in that it is a malternative beverage. 8 % alcohol, like malt liquor and wine! I'm drinking it now. Blood Orange flavor. I tried Mike's Hard Lemonade once, and their regular version had an acidic taste. RE: Mango Wheat and other ales - Leigha - Jul 12, 2019 haha Yea, it's the carbonation that I remember not liking, but...I'll give it another try. Art is Hard for hazy IPA's. Pliny the Younger for IPA's. If you like Blue Moon Mango you might also try: Abita Purple Haze (wheat beer w/raspberries) Hangar 24 Orange Wheat McMenamin's Ruby Pyramid Apricot I made a really good blackberry wheat a few years ago but it's long gone. I like the orange/citrus infused beers, they taste more refreshing or something. Regular beer has such an odd taste to me. RE: Mango Wheat and other ales - Magical Realist - Jul 19, 2019 10 citrus beers.. https://draftmag.com/10-sun-kissed-citrus-beers/ RE: Mango Wheat and other ales - Leigha - Jul 20, 2019 Hey, thanks MR.
