Solar Eclipse [March 20th 2015] - stryder - Mar 20, 2015

If you didn't already know, within the next 8 hours the sun will be almost fully blocked by the moon over Europe.

I'll see if I can get some Camera shots during the Eclipse (although I don't have any filters for my lens to block it from damaging the digital receptors, so it's a risk but it could be worth it.)

Unfortunately I couldn't get any shots of the eclipse. The location I'm at happened to be covered by a very thick blanket of cloud which meant there was really nothing to see other than it getting extremely dark during daylight hours. There apparently isn't another localised eclipse like that until 2026, hopefully the weather will be better then if I'm still in the area.

The spirits of the dead were deterred from devouring the sun again. Thanks to the ritual chants / dancing of the shamans; and the rest of the "people of the pines" shouting and clanging percussion instruments.
