Perhaps Seagal has prized his Russian citizenship of the last two years as an escape haven should all the sexual misconduct and assault charges / litigation hanging over him finally come to roost. Maybe this addition of being a cultural envoy to the US provides the illusion of either diplomatic immunity or better last minute, Polanski-esque flight potential.

He used to live near here. He befriended our sheriff. Everyone said that it was to get a permit to carry. From what I remember, there were a few rumors of assault here and there. Who knows, though? People talk.
