This is a great movie on Youtube. Child genius Martin Brundle is in for tough times when he discovers a secret Mr. Bartok has kept hidden for all 5 years of his life.

I didn't even know there was a sequel to the 1986 *The Fly* reboot. For that matter, that the 1958 original had a couple of sequels is a personal surprise, too. I mean, it's like the memory of the latter should perversely be more recent to the general population than the other because of all the Svengoolie and Off Beat Cinema type hosts wearing out those blurry old B&W movies. Along with Mystery Science Theater 3000 reruns.

It was not so much that it was better or worse than the original, rather, it spun the story from a different perspective. With the technologically precocious child genius Martin Brundle it takes an intelligent perspective on the original. Making for interesting story telling.
