Zucchini Bread

3 cups flour
1½ cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda

2 cups shredded unpeeled zucchini
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup raisins
3 eggs
1 cup oil

Stir in large bowl; sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, soda, zucchini, nuts and raisins. Beat egg and stir until moistened. Bake in 9x5x3 inch pan for one hour and thirty minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Turn out on cooling rack. Turn top side up and cool completely.

Pumpkin Bread

3½ cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons soda
1½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
3 cups sugar

1 cup salad oil
4 eggs
2/3 cup water
2 cups processed pumpkin

Sift together dry ingredients including sugar. Make a well in dry ingredients and add all remaining ingredients. Mix until smooth.

Add:

1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts chopped
1 cup dates, chopped

Bake at 350 degrees for one hour and ten minutes

Both sound good... ive got 2 loafs of cluelusshusbund bread bakin now.!!!

Mine's the opposite of you. Rather than exhibiting his culinary knowledge and skills to the world he pretends he's horrible at cooking so he can weasel out of it. Wink
