Vivid Experiences of the Supernatural - Ostronomos - Jun 1, 2018

I have stated persistently that I have have vivid experiences with the supernatural. I want to know if anyone else has entered that world at all. Or at least has mathematically derived it.

Can you describe some of these experiences? I am really interested in stuff like this.

I've have plenty of vivid experiences, but I wouldn't call any of them supernatural.

Yes. I have never once seen a demon. Rather, I have sensed their presence nearby and heard them from afar. But you may ask "since there was no direct contact how can you be sure"? To which I would answer, "I was perceiving a higher dimension which I was absolutely certain of which included an all-encompassing entity (God obviously) who provided protection from said demons via vocal requests". What form or manifestation did said demons take? Their behavior functioned parallel to my inward perceptions of fear and doubt, thus I countered that with a reaction of confidence and certainty in prayer and trust in God. I was definitely in a higher dimension that coincided with people, places and things. I could hear people shouting deft profanities from their car or from the building across the street and I knew logically there was no justification for it. It was the demonic forces who were raging at the fact that they could not reach me due to God's protection.

Another example was that I was also walking through a hallway two years ago with a serious injury that was bordering on fatal (now healed) and the light in the hallway dropped down to a sad and gloomy color just before I was about to die from it but I survived strictly because of the light which simply assured me that I should relax and take it easy and not put so much pressure on the injury. Then I went to my room and relaxed a few minutes later knowing that I was not going to die that day thankfully. All the while non-random events ran parallel to my thoughts including observing people walk into my room while I was praying aloud knowing full well that I would interpret their presence to be the presence of demonic forces. But alas, demonic forces do not harm people because there are rules in existence they must follow, even when they are desperate to get to you. They only want power and control over you through fear.

I think I encountered a demon, or negative entity, once. I sort of half awoke in a paralysis state in which I was in fear of some demonic presence in the corner of my bedroom. I pronounced the name Jesus Christ and told to to get lost. Sometimes I pronounce the name Merlin. Anyway, so after that I came to full awakeness and heard some bushes outside my open window thrashing about. I wonder to this day what was there.

I would not rule that out as a physical impossibility. Given the fact that everything is possible within a multiverse that includes spirit and matter but that their are physical constraints they are bound by. Hell, even God obeys His own creation.

Any experience would still seem to be conforming at least partially to "natural" as long there's a feeling or manifestation of extension (space) and progression of differences (time). But obviously not wholly abiding to the template if other regularities, rules, or expectations of "nature" aren't accomodated.

Etymologically a context like "supernatural" would suggest being beyond all natural characteristics. And thus such "supernatural" experiences in a pure sense actually not being available -- if appearances require extension and changes just to be possible.[*] But definitions of "supernatural" are probably notorious for lacking consensus across the board of different traditions and special interests, so the term doubtless does refer to a corrupted hybrid for many if not most of them.

Thought orientations and beliefs revolving around the simulation hypothesis might posit the "supernatural" as a stratum prior in rank to this one. But dependence upon technological computation at each level boils down to continual repeats of the natural template. So therein "supernatural" becomes a figurative label rather than signifying something completely different. The latter providing what makes nature possible and what terminates the endlessly receding idiot inquiry of "what caused this?" (which results from perversely making causation or any concept that references generative entities and relationships as being more fundmental than existence and all other ideas).

[*] In "The River of Consciousness", Oliver Sacks introduces clinical cases of there being static visual scenes. But this does not mean that collective experience was frozen as well, since the subjects were still aware of changes in the other senses and their own internal thoughts (collective appearances were still dependent upon time unfolding).
