Milky Rain in American Pacific Northwest - Yazata - Feb 10, 2015

What has MR been up to???

There are reports of weird rain in the Oregon, Washington area, that leaves a dirty milky deposit on car windshields and whatever it falls on.

The best explanation that I've seen was a speculation that it might be volcanic ash from a recent large volcanic eruption in Russia's Kamchatka peninsula.

Word is that the weird rain has been sent off for analysis but I haven't seen the results.
