Family killed in cliff crash likely intentional - Syne - Apr 2, 2018

"The crash one week ago in Mendocino County may have been intentional based on the absence of skid marks, data from air bag controllers and other information, the California Highway Patrol said.

A CHP spokesman told reporters that the GMC Yukon's on-board computer indicated that the vehicle stopped and then suddenly accelerated off Highway 1 — plunging about 70 feet down to the rocky shoreline of the Pacific Ocean.

"Pure acceleration all the way," said CHP spokesman Cal Robertson."

Considering the much higher rate of suicide among LGBT, the adoption of all these children by lesbians may have contributed to their deaths. Quite aside from the surfacing reports of neglect and abuse at their hands.

"According to neighbors and court records, the family has had troubles in the past, carrying over to a recent investigation into abuse or neglect with the Washington Department of Social and Health Services.

Sarah Hart was charged with a misdemeanor offense of domestic assault against her daughter Abigail in 2011, and neighbors claimed that Devonte would often ask them for food. He said his parents would withhold food as punishment.
...
The state's Department of Social and Health Services said in a statement that the children who were killed would be identified "as potential victims of alleged abuse or neglect.""

I blame it on mental illness and suicide rates. Can't help it if those step on your sacred cow.

What mental illness? Did you look at their medical records? Or are you just making shit up again?

The mentally well-adjusted aren't high suicide risks.

Is your sacred cow more important than 6 children and a spouse who didn't deserve to die?

It should be considered that sometimes people that are do things that "Normal" people claim they wouldn't do are sometimes manipulated by people that have a different mental health issue (Sociopathy). For instance if a boss made someone completely miserable and eventually fired a person from their job. That person might hold resentment with that boss along with having problems trying to work for anyone else (Think of it like a form of PTSD, where working for someone else triggers negative feelings about the previous employer etc) Tied with other various problems it can lead to a powder keg waiting to happen, where a person might take their own life or revenge etc.

If people treated each other respectfully there would be a lot less problems in the world, unfortunately though there is always those that feel entitled over others and go out of their way to prove that.

On a slightly different but similar subject. A news article in regards to a Tesla "Autopilot" (should really be renamed co-pilot) death. I reasoned if someone had a suicidal urge and wanted to make some money for their family, then obviously a standard life insurance policy would be undermined by a suicide. If however they bought a Tesla car and had flicked the autopilot on momentary before an impact into a road barrier, then the blackbox of the car (if death occurred) would make it look like the car and it's AI system was at fault, forcing the company to pay the family for the drivers loss.

It makes you wonder what legal changes would be required due to this.

Intentionally killing 7 innocent people is highly indicative of mental illness.
But you don't seem to care about that. Orientation solidarity comes before basic human morality, huh?

Yeah, mental illness is very often contagious like that. But then remaining under a sociopath to your own detriment also indicates at least a vulnerability to mental illness.

I don't think so, since the blackbox would likely also record when the AI was activated and what course-correction it was capable of.

But stepping out in front of a self-driving car might serve the same purpose.

So is diagnosing mental illness based on someone's sexual orientation. You should see a doctor.

Again, are you incapable of acknowledging the 7 innocent people murdered?
Without that, or the reports of neglect/abuse, I would have had nothing at all to say about this family.
This just drives home the higher suicide risk having potentially horrendous results. Or do you really not care that 6 children died? O_o
If not, that would seem to indicate a high degree of psychopathy and neuroticism.
