Bag Full of Human Hands Found in Russia - Yazata - Mar 9, 2018

There were 54 severed hands in a bag fround near a river in Khabarovsk, leading to all kinds of speculation about exotic criminal gangs.

(Do the hands match the mysterious Canadian feet?)

But investigating police say that it wasn't the work of criminals (at least not that kind). Instead the hands are supposed to have come from a nearby forensic laboratory that keeps the preserved hands of some individuals for future identification purposes, and that these hadn't been disposed of properly. (I'll say!)

Wow! That’s a creepy find.

I worked at a hospital where something similar happened. A dog somehow got a hold of a leg and was running down the street with it. It caused quite a stir.

Funnily enough I came across an article the otherday about 1920's Russia during a famine, were certain Russians turned to Cannibalism.
