Climate Change Could Transform Southern Spain Into Desert
http://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2016/11/the-next-century-will-change-europes-climate-more-than-the-past-10000-years-did/505760/

EXCERPT: [...] A study published this week in Science emphasizes the importance of both goals. Unless global temperatures are kept below 2 degrees, the biomes of the Mediterranean Basin will change more by the year 2100 than they have in the past 10,000 years. Biomes are ecological regions that share similar flora, fauna, and weather. Desert, deciduous forest, and Alpine meadow are all types of biome. The study finds that many regions of the Mediterranean will undergo such stress that—under all but the kindest warming scenarios—biomes are likely to significantly change in the next century, as forests become scrubland and scrubland becomes desert. “Under the [business-as-usual] scenario, all of southern Spain turns into desert, deciduous forests invade most of the mountains, and Mediterranean vegetation replaces most of the deciduous forests in a large part of the Mediterranean basin,” write the study’s authors....

no such thing as "climate change" to the american voter.
watch them get more snow storms and big deep freezes and then summer droughts wiping out all their crops.
population density area will start to move to try and move to where the milder weather and food is(more walls to be built for sure)
they may change their definition of "science" ... maybe, just maybe when that happens, however its likely to be a little too late and they will have massive population moves and probably quite abreak down of law and order.
but thats the way they want it.
Quick note for those who do not follow Climate change or as one of its facets glacia melting and artic sea ice melting.
while its jolly nice to have the sea water a little less salinated the innability of the ice to reflect the sun is expotentialy warming the sea.
this in turn is creating a cascade effect which is outstripping all predictions that have just been accepted by the world leaders.

to make a rather complex long story short here it is basically.

the noth pole is melting from too much heat and from the sea acidity level being changed by pollution.
what that physically is already doing is 2 things
1 moving fish feeding and breeding cycles away and killing off massive amounts of breeding and feeding grounds for key species like the entire global tuna stocks.
and... here is the bit that will be quite funny to watch.
it is moving the gulf stream from the change in  temperature to make it swing more wildly down over the USA seasonally which means, the usa, who are now the worlds leading Climate Change Deniers will be freezing to death and starting to starve from all their food crops being frozen or in the summer dried out with the drought.
the flooding will be interesting too..

should be excellent follow up reality TV to the Reality TV of the Election.
