Software Update [OCT/2016] - stryder - Oct 19, 2016 We've just had a software update applied, so please keep an eye out for any odd behaviour from the site. All attempts have been made to make it go smoothly, but there is always the chance that one semi-colon out of place is enough to create a bug. RE: Software Update [OCT/2016] - C C - Oct 20, 2016 I guess the duplication of new topics on the 18th was before the update and only a temporary glitch. ("Sleep disorder related to schizophrenia" and "Slow cooker Thai coconut chicken soup", if not more.) RE: Software Update [OCT/2016] - stryder - Oct 20, 2016 I'm not entirely sure the reason for the duplicate threads, possibly a glitch within the cloud. (It's a bit odd since instantiation should mean every pageload/post is separately ID'd but for some reason it managed to get duplicated. I'll have to keep an eye out to see if it happens again as it means somewhere within the code something's failing) Hopefully the update will fix some of the glitches that previously existed though. RE: Software Update [OCT/2016] - stryder - Oct 30, 2016 Updated: I've fixed a small bug with the Login/Signup templates. Apparently if you attempted to login or create a new password by the login box that occurs when a member isn't logged in an does a search, it caused the URL to get nerfed so it wasn't logging in or resetting passwords from those links. I've now hardset the URL so that problem shouldn't occur again, so in future no one should have problems with creating or activating accounts. (I apologise I didn't spot it sooner, however it was an intermittent bug due to how a person accessed the URL) |
