Cult Think - Bowser - Aug 28, 2016

It's funny that I can see this on so many levels in life.  Most people search for a connection and security with others.  Maybe we all belong to a cult in one form or another, whether it be minor or more.

One of the more unusual cults that I have heard of is the Raelian Movement.

It is real and they are among us, even here in the Yukon. Someone close to me has spent considerable hours in conversation with an individual and has summarized
the discussions as largely of interest to members because of the very liberal attitude towards sex.

Quote:Embracing Sensuality

The Elohim are benevolent creators who wish for us to enjoy the life they have given us. As such, Raelians are strong advocates of sexual freedom between consenting adults, and their attitude toward free love is one of the most well known facts about them. Raelians therefore exhibit a very wide variety of sexual orientations and preferences, including monogamy and even chastity.

I remember our own local cult back in the 80's here in Oregon.  Seems that they were often in the news.  They, too, became secluded within their own bubble, but even then they were active in the local community.

That is an informative read that you have posted a link to. Very interesting about the presumed attempt to use food poisoning as a bio-terror weapon.
