Digital Universe? - Zinjanthropos - Oct 13, 2026

Don’t how or why that thought just popped into my head a few minutes ago. Was thinking if the universe works like some sort of cosmic operating system then perhaps it acts as a massive digital engine processor. So if things align correctly then it can generate RNA, DNA or whatever and produce a life form.

Upon thinking it over some more, an information universe might contain codes to spark life into existence. Universe might possibly be a a digital to biological converter of some kind. Starting to think that life isn’t going to be produced in a lab anytime soon. We need those codes. How you’d get them I don’t know but from what I just looked at, apparently we can do the reverse but can’t put Humpty-Dumpty together again. Biological to digital ok in a lab, that Ventner guy supposedly has done this, but biological to digital to biological not happening.

I saw the title and thought, "it's all just fingers?"
