The benefits of fasting - Magical Realist - Oct 13, 2026 I strongly believe in this! One meal a day baby! Now I have the evidence and the logic: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1433958635595005 Harvard longevity scientist Dr. David Sinclair skips breakfast and lunch, here is why. Harvard researcher Dr. David Sinclair revealed that he delays his first meal until 6 PM, using extended daily fasting to trigger deep cellular recovery: Activating Longevity Pathways Skipping morning and afternoon meals keeps nutrient-sensing pathways like sirtuins turned on, signaling your body to focus energy on repair rather than digestion. Stimulating Autophagy Extended fasting windows encourage autophagy, the process where your body cleans out damaged cellular components and recycles them for peak tissue function. Reducing Metabolic Stress Consistently giving your digestive system a break helps support blood sugar stability, improves insulin sensitivity, and shields cells from constant metabolic strain. Allowing your body extended periods without food is one of the most direct ways to help activate internal longevity mechanisms."
