VIDEO EXCERPTS: Llantwit Major is a small seaside town in Wales. A few years ago, the government proposed a migrant camp in the centre of town. Anti-migrant groups warned that this could have downsides. Then far-left groups came into the town and convinced the residents that the migrant camp would be good (no more than 90 people, mostly young Ukrainian women fleeing the war) and reminded them that they must reject the far right, or they would look racist.
Eager to not look racist, the townspeople staged a counter-protest [...] A huge victory for the left ... and the BBC writing gushing articles about the plucky little town that rejected the far right. The town stood up against those horrible Nazi anti-refugee bigots, and the plans for the refugee camp went ahead. ... The townspeople got what they asked for, and now they're not happy.
Oh, just what you want in the middle of your town. Some shipping container-style units are rising high into the sky. And it's right in the middle of the town. I believe this site was actually earmarked for another medical center. But now it's being used to house these men instead. Look at that. All ready to be filled. And you can see the residents' houses just a stone's throw away over there.
[...] Councillor Gwyn John slammed residents' objections to the migrant camp. ... What a good virtue signal there. He stuck it out against the residents. I mean, never mind that politicians are supposed to represent what the residents want. He knew what was best for the residents, and that's a big old refugee center in the middle of town.
Well, how's it going for Gwyn now? Let's have a look. Oh, well, now he's upset because he rang up the GP and was told he was number 32 in the queue.
Sorry, Gwyn, but there are 31 guys with tuberculosis and Ebola who get priority. But they're welcome here, remember? You're not being a Nazi, are you, Gwyn? I mean, what did you think was going to happen when you invited hundreds of third-world men into your town? Do you think they're all going to bring Bupa memberships with them?
No, they're going to need the state's resources. So, there's going to be fewer state resources for you. "I've been with the same GP surgery for 77 years, but decided to leave when I rang them up and was told I'm number number 32 in the call queue." And like I said, that site that the refugee camp was built on was supposed to host a medical facility.

And how are residents finding the reality of their ideals? Well, the BBC has done a follow-up report. Refugee homes look like a prison, say locals.
"It looks like I'm living next door to a storage container yard," said Stephen McGranahan, a retired RAF engineer. "My biggest concern is that they are too close to me. They should be 21 meters away under planning guidelines, and they're less than 10 m away. I'm not someone who says, 'Not in my backyard.'
Well, you must be delighted then, Stephen, because they are in your backyard, literally. Hey, I mean, at least you weren't racist.
[...] Labour's Kanishka Narayan said he had listened closely to residents' concerns on planning issues. He said he would be a strong champion for the community and will put these concerns first when engaging with the council planning committee on the issue. Yes, yes, that's right. And I fully believe that Kanishka Narayan is going to fight tooth and nail to protect the land of the Welsh residents, the Welsh natives.
What's going to be the next town to get enriched like this? Well, according to the BBC, Greenock in Scotland is going to get lots of migrants. [...] I hope British towns are ready for this. Andy Burnham wants to move migrants around the country to anywhere where the Labour vote needs to be bolstered by some imported Third World leftists. So either get used to this - or be prepared to be called racist...

It's always the lies to cover for the intended slippery slope with the left.

"Racist" is like "fascist" or "Nazi". When leftists use those words, it's just an insult, chosen because historically people haven't liked those things (often with good reason). If you can associate your opponent with something that's widely disliked, then you are more likely to win. Simple rhetoric.
But it might be having an unintended opposite effect. If these insults are used too often and too freely, people will start tuning them out. They will stop caring if people call them names.
We just saw it in Saxony-Anhalt where AfD was called every emotionally-loaded perjorative in the German lexicon, and crushed the opposition regardless. We saw it here in the United States where Donald Trump was called every insult in the dictionary and nevertheless was elected President... twice.
If people are abused too often, they will become hardened and they will simply stop listening to you.
