Consciousness-creating exercises.. - Magical Realist - Jun 25, 2026

What was your most intense experience? This requires alot of reflection. It could be a moment of great happiness, or a moment of absolute despair, or a moment of complete terror. Or maybe something entirely different. Watch carefully what arises in you. See how you judge it. And ponder what you learn about yourself and the life you've led.

Strangely my life has been lacking in any really intense experiences. No moments of great pain. No brushes with death. Never falling in love. Never bungee-cord jumping off a bridge. I am left wondering if this has been a good thing or a bad thing. lol

What a sad, boring life. Is it even worth living? Have you ever truly been conscious?
And I knew you never faced any danger in the Navy.

Nothing exceptional comes to mind. Deaths in the family, accidents (including snake bites). Each of them intense in different ways. Some events should have felt acute, but actually weren't.
