Anger, hostility, and contempt leading to violence - elte - Feb 11, 2016 http://medicalxpress.com/news/2016-02-anger-contempt-disgust-fuel-hostility.html My thought is that for somebody in a bad mood, it is better to be sad than mad.  It's okay to be mad about circumstances rather than be mad at people.  Life is a pretty raw deal for humans.
