"Evil" girl of UK gov's anti-right propaganda backfires as hero for trads (DIY fail) - C C - Feb 1, 2026 About the worst thing you can do with teens is portray your rival as hip and cool, and your own political camp as overly pious or hyper-moral lecturing and stodgy. - - -- - - - - - - - - - - Progressive ‘anti-far right’ game backfires as antagonist Amelia becomes viral meme https://www.hungarianconservative.com/articles/culture_society/progressive-anti-far-right-game-backfires-antagonist-amelia-viral-meme/ EXCERPTS: Right-wing internet and social media have been flooded in recent days with Amelia, the purple-haired goth ‘nationalist extremist’ from an online prevention game created by Hull City Council in England. The controversial game, which effectively treats every white young person as a potential extremist, has accidentally spawned a meme that is now used to spread the very ideology and messaging the council sought to prevent—and categorizes as ‘far-right extremism’ through the creation of the game. [...] The message and purpose of the game are clear—and outrageous, though not entirely surprising: if you believe in preserving your nation’s culture and traditions, and want to protect it from mass migration by people who do not respect those same traditions, then you are cast as the villain and excluded by your peers. However, the game’s developers and the progressive masterminds behind it made a glaring mistake. They turned Amelia, the game’s main antagonist, into an archetype that is widely popular in global meme culture among young people: the goth girl. As soon as the game escaped its ‘educational’ bubble, right-wing social media latched onto her. Suddenly, timelines were filled with Amelia fan art, edits, and screenshots. They basically admitted that the right-wing is the cool counterculture... fighting to express themselves and protect their rights in their own country. RE: "Evil" girl of UK gov's anti-right propaganda backfires as hero for trads (DIY fail) - C C - Feb 5, 2026 More goth girl heresy. Amelia: Rule Britannia : https://youtu.be/YWgxGaRxcT0 RE: "Evil" girl of UK gov's anti-right propaganda backfires as hero for trads (DIY fail) - Yazata - Feb 6, 2026 It's an indication of how far we've fallen, not just in Britain but in all of the western world, that love of one's country, emotional attachment to home with its history and traditions, and opposition to a wholesale social revolution that nobody asked for seeking to transform everything into... something else, has somehow become emblematic of the "far right" and of evil. Amelia stands defiantly as the antithesis of all that. Creating her and positioning her as a symbol of 'alt' cultural opposition to already deeply unpopular establishment doctrine was perhaps the biggest propaganda screw-up by the social mandarins in living memory. Angrily denouncing her as "racist" isn't going to help much either. That will just make "racism" more acceptable and even trendy among the rebellious young. I'm falling in love with this girl!
