A leftist mob swarms a random[?] car, smashing windows[?], ripping at doors, screaming “We got his flag!” and forcing the driver to flee for their life… all because they suspected the driver might be conservative. This is why these people are getting themselves killed. Anyone in that situation would have been justified using lethal force against that mob.

As they were fleeing.. If the car had struck or even killed one of the demonstrators would that have been okay? No blame attached to the driver?
