EXCERPTS: What was disturbing about this incident was where they learned this “scientific fact” – from their science teacher. I firmly believe that science teachers, even at the fifth grade level, need to have a working basic knowledge of science and critical thinking.. If you want a photo of a star from moon then while using a filter, point camera towards Sun.

There are smart people who know stuff. If you can convince folks the smart people are wrong then that makes you even smarter than the smart folks .. right?
