UAP captured in Clovis CA on video.. - Magical Realist - Oct 26, 2025

The magnification of the video shows extraordinary detail, ruling out aircraft or bird or drone.

"UFO specialist"... "special program"

You've never heard of ufologists and UAP AI video programs?

"Artificial intelligence (AI) programs are being used by both government agencies like NASA and independent scientific groups to analyze data on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs). These AI programs and research projects aim to identify patterns, classify objects, and distinguish genuine anomalies from misidentified human-made or natural objects.

AI programs and research efforts

NASA: A 2023 NASA report on UAPs recommended the use of AI and machine learning (AI/ML) to study unexplained sightings. NASA has since appointed a director of UAP research and plans to use AI and machine learning, alongside crowdsourced data from the public, to address data limitations and better understand these events.

Harvard Galileo Project: This serious scientific effort uses a network of cameras and sensors to scan the sky continuously for UAPs. The collected data is fed into custom-built AI software, which is trained to filter out known objects like planes, drones, and birds to identify genuine anomalies.

University at Albany (UAlbany): A team of physicists has developed software called Custom Target Analysis Protocol (C-TAP). This tool combines AI with human verification to perform a pixel-by-pixel analysis of camera images, helping to differentiate actual phenomena from digital noise.

UAP SkyCAM: This is an autonomous, AI-powered camera system that uses image-processing algorithms to observe the sky for objects and short-term luminous phenomena. The system uses machine learning to reduce false detections, correctly classifying objects like birds, planes, and helicopters.

UFO specialist = biased
Special program = what specific program?

I can manipulate video footage in many ways that will change the look of objects. Not all of them are honest depictions of an object, because video resolution and artifacts can add things that aren't actually there... which can be exaggerated by video processing.

Quote:UFO specialist = biased

"Types of UFO specialists

Government and military: These individuals work within official government programs to investigate potential threats and analyze data. For example, the U.S. Department of Defense's AARO investigates UAP reports, standardizes reporting, and analyzes data.

Scientists and academics: Some scientists, like physicists and astronomers, have studied UFOs, sometimes in an official capacity for projects like the U.S. Air Force's Project Blue Book. Others, like Avi Loeb, have a background in a specific scientific field and have publicly suggested that UFOs could be alien spacecraft and need serious scientific study.

Private and independent researchers: This group includes people who investigate UFOs from a private capacity. Some have backgrounds in fields like archival research, and they focus on historical incidents like the Roswell UFO incident.

Journalists and authors: Some individuals research UFOs and write books or articles about their findings.

What they do

Investigate sightings: Interview witnesses and analyze evidence like photos, videos, and radar tapes to try to explain what was observed.

Analyze data: Use scientific tools and methods to study the data collected from sightings and other anomalies.

Research historical incidents: Study the history of famous UFO incidents, such as the Roswell crash, by reconstructing events and analyzing archival documents.

Assess potential threats: Evaluate if reported phenomena pose any potential threat.

Improve data collection: Work on standardizing reporting methods and using machine learning and AI to analyze data more effectively."

Call him and find out.

That's why they use AI video programs that eliminate any subjective human bias.

"UFO" means you're already biased to accept space aliens as a credible answer.
Not my job to run down the half-ass claims of UFO nutters. If they want to be at all compelling, they'd be more transparent in their methodology.
And you have no idea if he used AI or not, as it's completely unspecified.

Nope...space aliens form no part of the acronym UFO.

Quote:Not my job to run down the half-ass claims of UFO nutters. If they want to be at all compelling, they'd be more transparent in their methodology.

Not your job to read posts of compelling ufo evidence either. But you do. And there's no obligation to you for anything. You are just one more armchair debunker who can't handle the truth. Nobody's wasting their time explaining everything to your ignorant ass. If you want credibility, study the subject yourself instead of always denying it as all bunk.

Quote:And you have no idea if he used AI or not, as it's completely unspecified.

You were scoffing at the whole idea of a UFO program at all. I used AI programs as examples of that. There are obviously many other video programs for reliably cleaning up images out there. Study up on it and get back with us.

RE: UAP captured in Clovis CA on video.. - Syne - Oct 27, 2025

There's a reason they made up the term UAP. It because UFO has the connotation of space aliens. Reasonable people try to distance themselves from those nuts.
Yeah, "the truth" from a zealous true believer. 9_9
Nobody's even taking the time to make a cogent, compelling argument, much less explain their claims with any specificity.
I wasn't actually talking about UFO programs in general. I was reacting to the claim in your video that someone used some vague "special program" to analyze the video. I do video editing, so like I already said, "I can manipulate video footage in many ways that will change the look of objects."

One of these days you think you'd learn how to read.

UAP is no less otherworldly in its connotations. That's why it is called an "unidentified ANOMALOUS PHENOMENA", opening it up to being an event in the ocean as well as in the air and in space. UFO was too limited to just flying saucers, which was adequate at the time it was used but no longer covers the wider range of examples of this phenomenon, from metallic spheres to plasmoids to black triangles to tic tacs to submersible craft to even living amorphous creatures..

RE: UAP captured in Clovis CA on video.. - Syne - Oct 27, 2025

Hey, if you want to discredit UAP studies too, go right ahead.
