Eye problems.. - Magical Realist - Oct 15, 2025 I've gotten to know many of my floaters over the years. Some of them even have names. Like Jerry. One strange symptom popped up about 2 yrs ago. Whenever I look to the left or the right, I see lightning in the corners of my eyes. It's only really noticeable at night when I'm driving. I have since had my eyes checked and they are ok. But one must ever be on the look out. https://www.nei.nih.gov/learn-about-eye-health/eye-conditions-and-diseases/floaters RE: Eye problems.. - C C - Oct 16, 2025 I stopped taking lutein for a whole year, and floaters resulted. Plenty of other years that I was taking it that they could have chosen to pop up, and thereby fully prevent any idle speculation that there was a connection between the two.
RE: Eye problems.. - Magical Realist - Oct 16, 2025 Never heard of that. But there are some studies supporting lutein reducing floaters: "A small study published in the journal "Nutrition and Metabolism" found that people who took a lutein supplement for 12 weeks had a significant reduction in the number and size of eye floaters. However, larger and more rigorous studies are needed to confirm these findings." RE: Eye problems.. - Syne - Oct 16, 2025 I've been telling you that you're eyes were bad. RE: Eye problems.. - Magical Realist - Oct 27, 2025 More potential eye problems. Went to the VA Hospital Optometry dept a few days ago and got my eyes checked. Doc called back a day later saying there is a slight possibility for glaucoma. Great. He said it may be nothing and wants to check it with a better machine in Feb. The treatment is eyedrops for the rest of your life or you'll go blind. I couldn't go on being blind. Everything I value in life except for talking to my voices and listening to music involves seeing. But who knows. It may be nothing. Know someone who has it extremely bad, but they do maintain their sight with the eye drops. And that's with an array of other conditions compounded on, ranging from heart problems to insulin treated diabetes. RE: Eye problems.. - Magical Realist - Nov 4, 2025 Was jolted awake last night and saw above me for a brief instant a glowing blue ring of plasma-like energy that also made an electrical crackling sound as it descended upon my face. Hallucinations rarely involve two simultaneous sensory modes, in this case sight and hearing. No big deal..I just take it as a sign/symptom of my accelerating evolution into a higher energy being. lol RE: Eye problems.. - Syne - Nov 5, 2025 Well, belief of evolving into an energy being is likely linked to hallucination. RE: Eye problems.. - Magical Realist - Nov 5, 2025 I don't think there is any causal link between one's beliefs and hallucinations..Billions fervently believe in Jesus Christ, but very few hallucinate him. RE: Eye problems.. - Syne - Nov 5, 2025 Very few believe Jesus is on earth or would manifest to them. Hence, very few hallucinate Jesus. |
