Doesn't mean that it is a significant transition. There were a few migrating away even during Trump's last term. Although there are all kinds of reports about the Democratic Party losing registered voters. Also, just like the wave of urban Californians moving to red states, they may be bringing the high taxation mentality and lower law-enforcement standards and tolerance for third-world city environments that they are fleeing from along with them. "No, no, surely THOSE policies didn't really cause these problems. But I still to need to escape the consequences of my voting choices in candidates over the years."

Rowling thrives on controversy and attacking and lampooning transgender women. It's her new, and quickly getting really old, schtick. You can see the pleasure she gets from it in her quippy and snarky posts. And when you keep pissing enough people off worldwide on Twitter just for the fun of it you probably will get some death threats from a few wackos. Maybe even a few break-in attempts. Which only feeds the narrative of her as the alt right's heroic defender of "real women". So she's pretty much made her own bed. It's a pity she doesn't spend all this spare time she has writing more books, if anyone would even buy them now.
