Super Bowl LIX - C C - Feb 9, 2025
Can't find zip about whether Jalen Hurts is still having trouble with his leg. Tuned out all the hype of the past two weeks and avoid the exhausting pre-game hours.
Even if Hurts has 100% mobility back, and with Saquon running for them this time around, I don't expect things to be much different from the Superbowl two years ago.
The onus is on the Eagles. Only Brady ever got one on Mahomes in this. Otherwise, they become another Buffalo Bills that can't cut it against the Chiefs in the postseason. But at a higher pinnacle of fail than the Bills (if not quantity yet).

At half-time, it's a two day ride to Scotty's Junction for Taylor Swift and the Chiefs. A three-peat would still be possible against any other team, but here it would require a couple of turnovers and the Eagles' defense falling asleep in the second half.
34 to 0, near the end of the 3rd quarter.
It's over, no three in a row for the Chiefs. May be the most lopsided loss in Mahomes' career by the time it's over.

A blowout - I muted my TV during the first half and just glanced at it occasionally to see if the Chiefs were getting back into the game. Nope.
Didn't see the ads. The halftime show looked ridiculous with the sound off, terrible dancing.

I still think KC ran with that lucky streak they’ve be riding all season right into Louisiana where unfortunately it ended rather abruptly. And now that defensive coordinators across the NFL watch the game films of how Philly blew up Chiefs offence, there are no more secrets. KC should expect to see a lot of the same next year.
