Insightful, perceptive, and true! Although I would add that people getting married and having kids is a major friendship killer. I guess that'd fall under timeline differences...

Would be interesting to see if that still holds up with hard core Gen-Z, since so much of their fellowship is maintained via smartphone, social media, and game interactions that are impervious to distance.
