On my last two e-bike videos. a lot of people wrote that e-bikes are useless in a survival situation. or SHTF situation. They claimed that you cannot recharge it in the field. But that's actually not correct. Today I drove exactly 18 kilometers, and before that my battery was fully charged. So now I want to try out how long it takes until I can recharge my e-bike. My e-bike has a 48 volt battery, and I usually take it out when I'm recharging it-- just like this. [...] Inside of my pack I have a solar charge controller, which is a boost controller actually. So it can boost the voltage. And then here I have a solar blanket. This solar blanket has 220 watts. [...] This entire package only weighs 9.9 lb, so that's about 4.5 kg, so it's not that heavy...
