Ghost on a rollercoaster - Magical Realist - Jul 12, 2024 Accidental cellphone video capture of an apparition riding in a rollercoaster. Totally credible account and compelling evidence once again for the existence of ghosts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcvUq9DdtcE RE: Ghost on a rollercoaster - Syne - Jul 12, 2024 What morons. Grainy phone video is now "ghoulish" and "not fully manifested." RE: Ghost on a rollercoaster - Zinjanthropos - Jul 12, 2024 (Jul 12, 2024 01:20 AM)Syne Wrote: What morons. Grainy phone video is now "ghoulish" and "not fully manifested." I always look for something else that’s paranormal and I heard it said…..car too small for an adult to hide in but big enough for an adult plus one kid to ride in……. very spooky. RE: Ghost on a rollercoaster - Zinjanthropos - Jul 12, 2024 Around 1:25 mark, light from the big fixture behind the ghost is reflecting off the Shadow Spook’s head and body actually creating a silhouette of sorts. Not heard of ghosts casting shadows or blocking light before, so is this a something new? Is object obeying 1st law of motion with that lean to the left? RE: Ghost on a rollercoaster - C C - Jul 12, 2024 There's a break or shift in the continuity of the video just before the narrator says "Suddenly...". Sans all those Travel Channel adjustments like that, we would need to see the original continuous or uninterrupted footage to discount there being two different, consecutive rides on the roller coaster being spliced together. The guy doesn't seem to be holding a smartphone or camera, or else is very effective at concealing his extended arm. If the former, who was filming it -- the mother, a friend, etc? Did they have a rearview of the situation the whole time? Did they see a "mysterious figure" suddenly materialize in an empty cart? The usual type of "experts" these shows select -- with their prima facie standards -- are as useless for gathering facts, evaluating evidence, or asking the necessary questions as two or three drunks randomly selected in the back alley behind a honky-tonk, wild party, or liquor store. https://www.facebook.com/TravelChannel/videos/ghost-hitches-a-ride-on-rollercoaster-paranormal-caught-on-camera/1514079546199826/ RE: Ghost on a rollercoaster - Zinjanthropos - Jul 12, 2024 (Jul 12, 2024 03:24 PM)C C Wrote: There's a break or shift in the continuity of the video just before the narrator says "Suddenly...". Agree, seems like they go from bottom rails to upper level rather suddenly. Kid with the Freddie Mercury set of teeth is constantly looking back and just after the ghost appears he turns around laughing, like he was in on the prank or knew it was coming. Real scary as he commented earlier. Commentator and experts pushing the paranormal angle when there’s absolutely no clear evidence this is not a prank or even frightening. Really, it wouldn't even have to be two videos spliced together later (using a video editor). Just pause the filming of the first ride after some shots of the empty cart have been recorded. Then resume filming on the second trip, circa the same area of the track, with a cohort sitting in the end cart this time around. Paying for two rides in advance or making some arrangement with the caretaker of the rollercoaster beforehand, though, so that they could remain in the same cart. RE: Ghost on a rollercoaster - Zinjanthropos - Jul 12, 2024 What else is Steve Shippy going to say? Of course he’s in favour of the ghost option. Read somewhere he’s worth $11m, ghosts have been very good to Steve. Wonder how MR is doing financially with that podcast of his. Can MR rap? https://www.travelchannel.com/profiles/talent/steve-shippy RE: Ghost on a rollercoaster - Magical Realist - Jul 12, 2024 LOL The skeptics' contrived debunks and hostile attacks are almost as entertaining as the video itself! Must've struck a chord. So I guess the man and his son were just paid actors? Or were they in fact the masterminds behind this clever editing hoax? I actually watch "Paranormal Caught On Tape" all the time and while some videos are obvious mistakes like mylar balloons and other things there are many others that appear real and unmistakeable, especially the poltergeist activity. It suggests to me that in this age of the ubiquitous video camera the paranormal is more and more getting noticed and recorded, finally proving once and for all what we have always heard about it. RE: Ghost on a rollercoaster - Syne - Jul 13, 2024 No one had to "be in on it." Just having a fun day, filming occasionally, and not noticing anything untoward. Then watching it back later, not remembering when he was and wasn't filming, and it looks like it "suddenly happened." And/or someone completely unbeknownst to them was ducking down in the car. But if you go frame by frame (> key) at 23 secs, right after the narrator says "as it continues," the seat back of the last car is obscured by what could easily be someone ducking down. Notice the clear red of the seats in all the other cars. They also deceptively edit the video they originally show you, to skip from a clearly empty car to the man already sitting up. The original sequence shows the seat obscured by someone ducking down in the last car right before sitting up. Video editing is the easiest way to dupe people who already want to believe and have no discernible scrutiny of anything that affirms their bias. |
