VIDEO INTRO: Today I want to make a video on how you can calculate the wire size of your solar system. I always get the question, how do determine the size of the wires for your solar system? The one here is a 12-volt. We have different wire sizes here in between the inverter and the batteries. Also, we have a certain thickness of wires coming from the solar charge controller, and then we also have thinner wires coming down from the solar panel. So for calculating the size you actually have to know how many amps are flowing over the cables and conductors...
