So, I recently bought a telephoto lens for my iphone, and decided to take some pics of the moon earlier. Not bad. With just my cell phone camera, the moon always looks like a white dot, or at night, a glowy blob. I think this is an improvement. I have a tripod for my cell phone and plan to use it next time, as to lessen the blur. As the summer approaches in Florida, the night skies will be hazy and overcast. Not much to see with months of starless skies. This shot was taken around 6:30 PM Eastern but after dark, the moon isn’t visible.

The sky was bluer when I took pics without this lens, so maybe this distorts colors if the image is too far away.

Anyway, share your star-gazing/moon/space pics, too.
