Intense Thunderstorm Blasting Through - Yazata - Mar 31, 2024 And I mean blasting. Could hear the thunder approaching miles away, started seeing flashes in the sky. Rain started. Then suddenly it was scary. The rain was super intense, like standing in a shower. Small hail. The lightning was as bright as a giant flashbulb, followed immediately by a BAM so loud it hurt my years. Things right near me were getting hit bigtime. And it's tapering off again the way it started, booms in the distance moving away. I don't hear any sirens, will have to watch the news for word of lightning strikes near me. RE: Intense Thunderstorm Blasting Through - Syne - Mar 31, 2024 I guess that's rare in Cali. Here, we typically see a handful of similar storms a year. Not a big deal out here. |
