DARPA's Plan for a Lunar Railroad - Yazata - Mar 19, 2024 DARPA (the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, part of the US DoD) has selected Northrop Grumman to develop the concept of a lunar railroad network for transporting humans, supplies and resources between bases, laboratories, factories, mines and other possible future facilities on the Moon's surface.
