I saw "The Lobster" mind-trip some time ago. Still need to watch "The Killing of a Sacred Deer" to find out what his psychological thrillers are like. "Dogtooth", too, but it's another one of the ABCs (absurdist black comedies).

Trying to describe Lanthimos' movies is like trying to describe a Greenaway or a Lynch film. Darkly comedic, dramatically jarring, powerfully surreal, magically realist, really closer to visual artistry than to conventional filmmaking.
