No nasty carpet is a plus -- geothermal energy heating the floors. Tiny refrigerators, washing machines, etc not so much.

INTRO: Homes in Iceland are quite different from homes in the United States in a lot of ways and after living in Iceland for 8 years I’ve had a lot of time to notice these differences. I'm taking you inside and outside of Icelandic homes to show you what it's like to live in Iceland. Some of these things are obvious and some are not!
